Description of LED Battery Operated Spotlight - The LED Watchful Eye
FIXTURE
- Motion Sensor Activated: motion sensor turns spotlight on when motion is detected
- Motion Sensor Sensitivity: detects motion up to 30 feet away with a 180-degree angle of detection
- Built-in Photocell: ensures that LEDs are activated only in darkness
- Adjustable Automatic Shut-Off: spotlight turns off if not retriggered by motion after 30 seconds or 2 minutes depending on how the automatic shut-off is adjusted. This feature prevents unnecessary drain on the batteries.
- Weatherproof Design: may be used indoors or outdoors
- Durable Construction: made of UV resistant shatter-proof ABS plastic
- Fully Adjustable Aiming: direct the light where it's needed; fixture head pivots (see "pivot image" above) and mounting canopy can be rotated clockwise and counter-clockwise
- Dimensions: entire unit is approximately 6.25in long; diameter of light head is approximately 3-5/8in, unit sticks out approximately 6.5in from wall; mounting base diameter is approximately 2.75in
LIGHT SOURCE
- Bright White LEDs: provide 120 lumens of bright white light
- Good Amount of Light: optics provide balanced intense light with over 350 square feet of coverage
ELECTRICAL FEATURES
- Batteries: uses three 1.5V alkaline D batteries (not included). (Note: 1.5V lithium D batteries are no longer being made by Duracell and Energizer.)
- Good Battery Life: has an expected battery life of over one year when alkaline batteries are used; provides about 4,800 activations [Caution: Use only alkaline batteries and do not mix old with new batteries.]
INSTALLATION
- Easy to Install: please refer to these Installation Instructions (PDF). LED spotlight can be mounted virtually anywhere light is needed with no wiring required. A simple mounting plate, 2 screws & anchors, and installation instructions are included.
